tempo is a free typing practice tool provided as-is for personal use. By using this service you agree to these terms. Use it at your own risk — we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
An anti-cheat system is active on tempo. Scores are monitored for anomalies. Manipulating results through browser console commands, script injection, or any other means is a violation of these terms. Accounts or sessions found to be cheating will be flagged and may be blocked from submitting scores.
Appearing on the leaderboard and earning achievements requires signing in with Google. Anonymous sessions can use the typing test freely, but scores will not be recorded and badges will not be awarded. This requirement exists to keep the leaderboard fair and prevent duplicate or throwaway accounts.
We may update, modify, or remove features, word lists, modes, or any other part of tempo at any time without notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated experience.
tempo is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any statistics or results generated by the app. Use of this service is entirely at your own risk.
We reserve the right to restrict or block access to tempo for any user or IP address found to be abusing the service, cheating on the leaderboard, or otherwise acting in bad faith. No notice is required.
If you believe your account was suspended or restricted in error, you may submit a ban lift request. Requests must be made within 7 days of the suspension. After 7 days, account bans are considered permanent.
To request a ban lift, email precizionworkz@gmail.com with the subject line Ban Lift Request and include your user ID (visible in your account settings) and a brief explanation of why you believe the ban was issued in error. We will review all requests but cannot guarantee reinstatement. Repeat offenders are not eligible for a ban lift.
Chat bans may be lifted separately from account bans and can be requested at any time. Include Chat Ban in your subject line.
